About the Series
I have had to read pages upon pages of theological material; so much that it feels like I forget a fair amount of what I read. While I do maintain a general synopsis of a book, I want to better internalize and remember what I am chewing and digesting as I read. This series seeks to remedy this by providing brief reviews of the books I read.
A relatively famous work comes from Timothy Keller and Kathy Keller, The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God , Reprint edition. (New York, NY: Penguin Books, 2016), which functions as a great apologetic work to the secular/humanist/Western/individualist/Kant/Enlightenment/Post-modern worldviews of marriage. Keller and his wife seek to explain the glories of the Christian view of marriage to your average nonbeliever or new Christian. It is a great introduction filled with helpful advice all meant for the reader to come away appreciating God’s design for marriage as it was in Genesis 1–2. To say the least, it is a great conversation starter with plenty of food to munch on.
